USGS Menlo Park 50th Birthday, Wine and Cheese

On Wednesday, September 8, 2004, the Menlo Park campus of the U.S. Geological Survey had yet another celebration of its 50th birthday. This one was a wine-and-cheese event (beer too) featuring local Survey and friends who are vitners and brewers. Our Survey band, Duckweed played and David Howell signed copies of his new book The Winemaker's Dance. David will give a presentation at the evening public lecture on September 30 also.
